• Steered the turnkey execution of 4060 Cu M Blast Furnace Project on EPC basis in theexpansion project of Rourkela Steel Plant of Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), asProject Director in Tata Projects Ltd which involved multi-level co-ordination of engineering and business activities among Danieli Corus (consortium partner), Mecon(consultant), and SAIL (client).
• Spearheaded the implementation of steel plant projects (turnkey/non-turnkey) in IISCOsteel plant, encompassing total project management, comprehensive feasibility study & financial analysis,and detailed evaluation of technical specification of plant & equipment. Co-ordinated withinternational and Indian Consultants for site work including installation and commissioning.
• Corporate Plan of SAIL incorporating growth plans of all integrated steel plants under its fold was prepared in 2002-03 under the leadership of Mr Sarkar.
• Prepared Delay Analysis of complex projects e.g SAIL/RSP Blast Furnace Project, SAIL/ISP Inter Plant Piping Project, SAIL/BSL Desulphurization Project etc leading to contract resolution and financial gains for the executing agency.

Capable of undertaking project feasibility reports for mini steel plants or any new /brownfield venture on iron & steel related projects, handholding of delayed projects for bringing back to track or resolution of any complex contractual issue.
